DISPOSABLE FILTERS
A wide selection of low to medium efficiency disposable filters made of fiberglass and polyester. Polyester coated with adhesive is also available. These filters are supplied with a cardboard or wire frame. They are designed for air filtration in any type of HVAC system.
Disposable filters are made of progressive density synthetic microfibers in sturdy cardboard frames. Media and frame are thermosealed to prevent air bypass. This type of filter is perfect for either residential or light commercial applications. The frame features a notch at each end in order to stack filters more efficiently in their box, saving about 33% of the space required for storage, shipping and handling.
Poly Plus
POLY PLUS Disposable filters are available in a variety of standard and non standard sizes, in thicknesses of 1/2», 1» and 2». All Poly Plus filters are UL and ULC approved and meet Class 2 criteria. Suggested maximum operating temperature: 92°C (200°F).
TA Cell

DC 20
DC 20 filters are strong and durable. Two pieces of flameproof cardboard are interlocked and sealed to prevent air bypass. Filtration is ensured by fiberglass media. On the air entry side, fibers are looser, becoming tighter as they get closer to air output, which increases dust retention capacity and retains the smallest particulate. These commercial grade filters, which can be equally used in commercial or industrial environments, help prevent dust accumulation in coils, vents and other air conditioning and ventilation system components.
DC 20 disposable filters are available in a variety of standard sizes, in 1″ and 2″ thickness. Non-standard sizes are also available upon request. All DC 20 disposable filters are UL and ULC class 2 approved. Suggested maximum operating temperature: 200°F (92°C).
LAB 09 DC
LAB 09 DC filters are strong and durable. Two pieces of fire resistant cardboard are interlocked and glued to prevent air bypass. Filtration is ensured by synthetic media. On the air entry side, fibres are looser, becoming tighter as they get closer to air output, which increases dust retention capacity and retains the smallest particles. Filtres P.S.B.S.
Uses: The P.S.B.S. disposable filter is designed for air filtration in all HVAC systems. It will fit most frames without clips or other retaining devices. This type of filter is popular in hotel wall units for instance.
Features: The logic behind this filter’s design becomes obvious when you hold one. The overcut pad of polyester media extends from and covers the wire frame that forms its actual size. Anyone who needs to replace it will appreciate its quick and easy installation. This type of filter also offers about 40% less shipping weight and cuts storage space since it offers twice the compressibility of regular filters
Filtres P.S.B.T.
The P.S.B.T. filter is made of one layer of dry polyester and one layer of tackified polyester, solidly glued together on a wire frame. These filters are available in standard and non-standard sizes.
Filtres DB
DB filters are made of two layers of high-density synthetic fiber on a wire frame for better support. First, a dry layer traps large and medium size particles upon entry. Then a tacky layer retains the smallest particles upon exit. This filter panel offers superior air quality in a number of operating conditions. In addition, these panels are designed to resist humidity. The two layers of media are sewn all around to prevent any air bypass along the frame.
Features: This type of filter is particularly economical in terms of storage as it offers much greater compressibility compared to regular filters. DB filters are easily installed in 1-inch and 2-inch slots. They require no fastening devices as they are interconnected

The filter media must present a 95% efficiency and no less than 99% holding capacity when tested according to ASHRAE 52.1-1992 norms. Yellow synthetic microfiber. This model, the most efficient in this line, is used in locations where protection against dust is essential such as in hospitals, laboratories and paint booths for instance.

This filter provides an alternative when high efficiency is necessary but space is limited. The Kontrol Flow is made of a metal frame with a polyester filter media ensuring high efficiency and low static resistance. Available in three efficiency levels: 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95%; in two thicknesses, 6″ and 12″.
HIGH EFFICIENCY FILTERS
When extra clean air is required, HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters should be used. They are made of microfibre with aluminum separators and retain particles 0.3 micron in size. HEPA filters are used in pharmaceutical laboratories, hospitals, manufacturing plants, printing plants, office buildings, etc. Using this type of filter is necessary for the air purification process to be optimal. Airo-Flow
These disposable air filters are available in a variety of standard and non standard sizes and in thicknesses of 1/2’’, 1’’ and 2’’.
All Poly Plus filters are UL and ULC approved and meet Class 2 criteria. Suggested maximum operating temperature: 92°C (200°F).
HEPA
This high efficiency particulate air filter retains particles up to 0.3 microns. It is offered with a metal or wood frame, with or without a 3/4″ border. Available in three efficiency levels: 95% D.O.P., 99.97% and 99.999%.
The HEPA filter is commonly used in hospitals, pharmaceutical labs and other similar locations.
MEGA-PACK
Cfilter presents very little pressure loss, which makes it the most compact of its class, with an efficiency of 60% to 98%.
Available in three thickness: 1″, 2″ and 4″.
FILTRATION MEDIA
Great variety of medias used for air filtration. Fiberglass is available in a number of categories. Polyester is also a widely used media in the industry. Foam and Bestair (hog hair) are also available, as is an automatic roll similar to AAF, Farr and Cambridge products.

Fiberglass filtration media
A media made of tightly woven, progressive density fiberglass that increases its dust retention capacity. Available in various standard and non-standard sizes and in a number of thicknesses.
Polyester Fiber Media
100% polyester fiber media was first introduced to the filtration market for applications where a higher degree of indoor air quality was desired. It was immediately preferred by service technicians and HVAC contractors due to its softness, strength and light weight.
This disposable media is generally used in a frame. It is most often found in ventilation and filtration systems, and is widely used in the food industry where fiberglass is unacceptable. Synthetic polyester is available dry or tackified, in standard and non-standard sizes and in various thicknesses, in rolls and pre-cut pads
Foam Media Filter
The ideal media for air filtration, filter foam is made of polyurethane. This type of foam is used in HVAC systems, humidifiers and as pre-filters for electronic filters. It is washable and can therefore be frequently cleaned. Its exceptional extensibility gives it increased workability.
Bestair Media
Bestair is a hog hair type of media. Fully washable and reusable, it should be replaced every season. This media is rather stiff and may sometimes be used without a frame.
Automatic Roll Media
Auto-winding filter. Available in 65 ft. length in widths ranging from 21 inches to 72 inches. Media is 2-inch fiberglass. Also available in 1-inch polyester. Comparable to similar product by AAF, Farr, Cambridge, etc.
PERMANENT FILTERS
A complete line of washable filters with extra strong framing. These long lasting filters are offered in aluminum or galvanized steel. Whether it’s for an air conditioning unit or an exhaust hood, you will find the filter you need in this selection. Also available: the Frame, in which you insert the media of your choice; and the L-Frame, which allows you to create a filtration wall.

Alumi Flow
Made of aluminum with a galvanized frame, the Alumi Flow is an efficient permanent filter. Available with aluminum frame upon request. Used in ventilation and air conditioning systems; in hot air systems and in exhaust hoods. The Alumi Flow filter is made of aluminum foil expanded from various thicknesses into a number of different patterns. Through an exclusive manufacturing process, the layers are then bonded together to form a baffle type design.
Grease and dust gather on hundreds of surfaces with no risk of loss of pressure or obstruction. Its performance in terms of velocity ranges from 300 to 600 fpm. Magnification shows baffle pattern with average dust arrestance of 75%. Ribbed frame for more strength.
Electrostatic filter
The electrostatic filter uses static electricity to create a passive (non-electric) air cleaner. Two layers of polypropylene grids create a harmless static charge that attracts and holds airborne allergenic house dust. The electrostatic filter has 0.15 initial resistance and removes laboratory test dust up to 94% arrestance.
House dust is composed of a mixture of fibers from different types of fabrics, feathers and other stuffing materials. It also contains bacteria, mold and fungus spores, pollen, food particles, human and pet dander, bits of plants and insects, hairs and those dreadful dust mites, these crab-like bugs so tiny that 42,000 live in one ounce of dust and two million can take up residence in an average bed.
Eze Low
The Eze Flow filter’s frame is similar to the Perma Flow’s frame. The difference can be found in the internal material, which is constructed from multiple layers of woven aluminum screen overlaid at 60 degrees from each other. This unusual process lets dirt load deep into the filter’s crevices rather than just on the surface, thus allowing for greater dust holding capacity, which in turn leads to longer periods between filter cleanings.
High temperature applications : the Eze Flow filter meets Class 1 specifications.
Maintenance: Dirty filters should be removed and washed in hot water. Agitate to ensure deep cleaning. A mild solvent can be mixed with water. Dry thoroughly and coat with filter adhesive.

Perma Flow
Perma Flow filters are made of a permanent, washable hog-hair type media in a no. 22 gauge galvanized metal U frame, with high resistance laths on each side.
Baffle
Designed to keep grease from depositing and building up in exhaust hoods. Unlike conventional mesh type filters, grease is collected from the air exhausted from the cooking area and runs down the vertical baffles to drainage holes, where it drops into troughs that lead to the collection can. The staggered, interlocking design of its baffle plates prevents flash flame from penetrating the plenum and ductwork.
The baffle filter is offered with optional bail or lock handles to comply with specific building or health codes requiring filters to be locked to the exhaust hood.
PLEATED FILTERS
These filters offer greater filtration surface. For superior performance at a great price, choose pleated filters. Equipped with a reinforced frame, the Maxi-40 and the Dust Controller are also available with antibacterial treatment. Pleated filters are designed to fulfill all your heating and air conditioning needs. They are often used as pre-filters with a Control Pack or a Kontrol Flow filter.

L-Frames
Create a filtration wall with these modular filters L-Frames are available in six standard sizes: 16×20, 16×25, 20×20, 20×25, 12×24 and 24×24. Once the L-frames are assembled, filters can easily be installed. This modular system is especially useful as it allows for use of medium and high efficiency cartridges as pre-filters as well as final filters. Each frame is made of 16-gauge galvanized steel and features a self-sealing joint to prevent air bypass.
